This Week’s Fave: FC5 Mattifying Powder

Published by Grace | Filed under Arbonne

I just love this. By 11am, my face already feels like a slip n’ slide, and although the makeup primer does wonders to keep my makeup on, nothing can stop your body from naturally producing oil on your face if that’s your skin type. That just wouldn’t be healthy.

After applying my makeup, I take a makeup brush and lightly dust this mattifying powder all over my face and helps to absorb oil. About half way through the day, I take a little cotton round and dab it with the powder and gently apply to my face, instead of using the cosmetic round that it comes with so that makeup doesn’t just sit on it, which also keeps it clean so that others can give it a try. Like all other Arbonne products, a little goes a long way. When I first used it, I got so excited and rubbed a ton of the powder onto one of the little cotton rounds and didn’t realize that, yes, the green in the powder really will show up if you overuse it. The green tint in the powder helps to neutralize redness, which is great for acne-prone skin or those with rosacea. The powder doesn’t get clumpy or feel heavy, and makes me feel a little better knowing that when I talk to people, they’re not going to be blinded by my shiny face.
